Hello Tarunkumar, The best way to treat Acidity is by maintaining the pH. of the stomach. It is important for our body to maintain the acid-alkaline level in order to work in harmony. Start your day with two-three glasses of water this will make sure all the irregular junk will flush out from the body. The next thing is to make sure always have a bowl of salad before meals ideally a fruit salad in the afternoon and vegetable salad in the evening before the meals. This will ensure that your body will be away from making unwanted acid. Tomato with black pepper is again helpful in handling pH., at night at least keep a gap of two hours between the meals and sleep. Hopefully, this helps you in treating acidity. Thank you

I have a long case history of GI disorder. Presently I am having problem in stool evacuation properly. Doctors diagnosed it as IBS. Akhil, my father suffered from similar issues which did not get diagnosed properly. That eventually became hernia and chronic constipation, prostrate inflammations, extra growth on his penis etc etc. the entire body became toxic leading to cancer and death. Not trying to create the fear, but helping you with the awareness that constipation is not a big thing to heal from when the body is fed the right fuels. When the colon is lined with rotting waste, unwanted bacteria and food that was not digested properly in the stomach before coming into the colon, it putrefies in the intestines. The causes still remains the same - foods such as dairy eggs, gluten, meat, seafood consumed over a long period of time with heavy fats and proteins that weakens the bile and the hydrochloric acid in the gut. With weaker stomach acids and ineffective weak bile, the food does not get digested properly and moves into the intestine while the pathogens feed on them. Overtime it reaches the colon which is the final dumping ground. Hi, Consuming medications might help you relieve your symptoms for a short duration of time, but getting to know your root cause and eliminating the same is the only solution to solve your health issue from its root cause. Lets briefly look into the working of the alimentary canal and identify what might be causing you acidity. Acidity or heartburn is a common symptom of GERD. Acid reflux or GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux)is when an individual experiences heartburn in their chest or a sour or bitter taste at the back of their mouth. When we eat food it passes through a tube called oesophagus to the stomach. There is a valve (LES) or lower oesophagal sphincter after the end of the oesophagus and the beginning of the stomach. This has muscles which close the moment food enters the stomach so that the contents and the juices from the stomach do not come back to the oesophagus. But, sometimes when the LES is weak or relaxes inappropriately, the stomach's contents flow up to the oesophagus causing discomfort. Sometimes individuals experience a burning sensation in the stomach. This again is due to overload of old undigested waste which has been built up in the colon. The old material is incompletely evacuated from the intestines and this becomes a feeding ground for bacteria and pathogens. This, in turn, produces gas, bloating and acidity. Certain medications and even stress could also be the cause. Lifestyle and diet changes help in most cases. Foods and beverages that can irritate include chocolate, peppermint, fatty foods, pepper, coffee, and alcoholic beverages. Eating meals at least 2 to 3 hours before bedtime may lessen reflux by allowing the acid in the stomach to decrease and the stomach to empty partially. Cigarette smoking weakens the LES. Acidity buildup in the stomach and reflux is definitely curable. Due to an incorrect lifestyle, the accumulation of toxins would have become the breeding ground for a lot of bacteria and viruses in the body. This weakens your gut and weakens the liver which becomes a storeroom for the pile of toxins. Anything that does not belong to the category of fruits, veggies, and greens goes to the list of toxins, bad smells, chemicals, and medicines anything. Overtime bile becomes less potent and this taxes the, stomach and strength of HCL in the stomach becomes less. As that becomes less, this can increase the acidity of the stomach due to other bad acids and bacteria that are thriving. So the acid reflux happens in some cases when this buildup causes weakness in the oesophageal valve. हेलो, कारण- फैटी लिवर एक reversible condition है जो अपने जीने के ढंग और तौर-तरीकों को बदल कर सही की जा सकती है. fatty liver disease (hepatic steatosis) हो सकती है. अधिक मात्रा में फैट या वसा का होना लिवर की normal functioning को प्रभावित कर देता है और तब यह आपकी खायी-पी हुई चीजों को ठीक से प्रोसेस नहीं कर पाता है. इसी को फैटी लिवर डिजीज कहते हैं. जो भी भोजन करते हैं उससे कार्बोहाइड्रेट, प्रोटीन, फैट, विटामिन और मिनरल्स जैसे पोषक तत्वों को प्रोसेस करने का काम लिवर ही करता है. अगर लिवर ठीक से काम ना करे तो शरीर का मेटाबोलिक बैलेंस भी गड़बड़ हो जाता है. जब बॉडी बहुत अधिक फैट बनाती है या बने हुए फैट को तेजी से मेटाबोलाइज नहीं कर पाती है. ऐसा होने पर जो excess fat होता है वह liver cells में इकठ्ठा हो जाता है और इस तरह से व्यक्ति को फैटी लिवर की बीमारी हो जाती है। इसके कारण खुराक में और शरीर में अम्ल की अधिकता हो गयी है।आपका पाचन तंत्र ठीक प्रकार से काम नहीं कर रहा है जो हाज़मा से जुड़े समस्याओं का कारण हो सकता है। समाधान - खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें या खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा कर सकते हैं। नीम के पत्ते का पेस्ट अपने नाभि पर रखें। 20मिनट तक रख कर साफ़ कर लें। मेरुदंड स्नान के लिए अगर टब ना हो तो एक मोटा तौलिया गीला कर लें बिना निचोरे उसको बिछा लें और अपने मेरुदंड को उस स्थान पर रखें। मेरुदंड (स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें। हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें और हफ़्ते में 3 दिन मेरुदंड का स्नान करें। जीवन शैली - आकाश तत्व - एक खाने से दुसरे खाने के बीच में अंतराल (gap) रखें। फल के बाद 3 घंटे, सलाद के बाद 5 घंटे, और पके हुए खाने के बाद 12 घंटे का (gap) रखें। वायु तत्व - प्राणायाम करें, आसन करें। दौड़ लगाएँ। अग्नि - सूर्य की रोशनी लें। जल - अलग अलग तरीक़े का स्नान करें। मेरुदंड स्नान, हिप बाथ, गीले कपड़े की पट्टी से पेट की गले और सर की 20 मिनट के लिए सेक लगाए। स्पर्श थरेपी करें। मालिश के ज़रिए भी कर सकते है। नारियल तेल से घड़ी की सीधी दिशा (clockwise) में और घड़ी की उलटी दिशा (anti clockwise)में मालिश करें। नरम हाथों से बिल्कुल भी प्रेशर नहीं दें। पृथ्वी - सुबह खीरे का जूस लें, खीरा 1/2 भाग + धनिया पत्ती (10 ग्राम) पीस लें, 100 ml पानी मिला कर पीएँ। यह juice आप कई प्रकार के ले सकते हैं। पेठे (ashguard ) का जूस लें और कुछ नहीं लेना है। नारियल पानी भी ले सकते हैं। बेल का पत्ता 8 से 10 पीस कर I100ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। खीरा 1/2 भाग + धनिया पत्ती (10 ग्राम) पीस लें, 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। बेल पत्ता 8 से 10 पीस कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर लें। दुब घास 25 ग्राम पीस कर छान कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। कच्चे सब्ज़ी का जूस आपका मुख्य भोजन है। 2 घंटे बाद फल नाश्ते में लेना है। फल को चबा कर खाएँ। इसका juice ना लें। फल + सूखे फल नाश्ते में लें। दोपहर के खाने में सलाद + नट्स और अंकुरित अनाज के साथ सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें और नारियल पीस कर मिलाएँ। कच्चा पपीता 50 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। कभी सीताफल ( yellow pumpkin)50 ग्राम ऐसे ही डालें। कभी सफ़ेद पेठा (ashgurd) 30 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। ऐसे ही ज़ूकीनी 50 ग्राम डालें।कद्दूकस करके डालें।कभी काजू बादाम अखरोट मूँगफली भिगोए हुए पीस कर मिलाएँ। लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। लें। बिना नींबू और नमक के लें। स्वाद के लिए नारियल और herbs मिलाएँ। रात के खाने में इस अनुपात से खाना खाएँ 2 कटोरी सब्ज़ी के साथ 1कटोरी चावल या 1रोटी लेएक बार पका हुआ खाना रात को 7 बजे से पहले लें। सेंधा नमक केवल एक बार पके हुए खाने में लें। जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन वर्जित हैं। तेल, मसाला, और गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा। चीनी के जगह गुड़ लें। 6. एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस(solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें।ठोस भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ ले सकते हैं। 7. हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें। शाम तक केवल पानी लें, प्यास लगे तो ही पीएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी और रात 8 बजे सलाद लें। 8. उपवास के अगले दिन किसी प्राकृतिक चिकित्सक के देख रेख में टोना लें। जिससे आँत की प्रदाह को शांत किया जा सके। एनिमा किट मँगा लें। यह किट ऑनलाइन मिल जाएगा। इससे 200ml पानी गुदाद्वार से अंदर डालें और प्रेशर आने पर मल त्याग करें। ऐसा दिन में दो बार करना है अगले 21 दिनों के लिए। ये करना है ताकि शरीर में मोजुद विषाणु निष्कासित हो जाये। इसके बाद हफ़्ते में केवल एक बार लेना है उपवास के अगले दिन। टोना का फ़ायदा तभी होगा जब आहार शुद्धि करेंगे। धन्यवाद। रूबी, प्राकृतिक जीवनशैली प्रशिक्षिका व मार्गदर्शिका (Nature Cure Guide & Educator)

Include fresh fruits, vegetables, seeds and nuts in your everyday menu. • Eat-in smaller quantity. Overeating or heavy meals can trigger acidity. Hyperacidity also known as acid reflux or gastritis is a common gastrointestinal problem with inflammation along the stomach lining caused mostly by bacterial infection or sedentary lifestyle and wrong eating habits. It is a common stomach problem which can be rectified with some lifestyle modification and change in food habits. Here are some of the advice you may follow ; • Always go for bland and binding diet such as Banana, rice and toast (brown bread).These foods are bland and binding which will prevent further reflux and vomiting. Bananas also contain potassium and other minerals which can help replace nutrients lost from vomiting. They are easy for digestion and absorption as well. • Chew your food properly before swallowing, it'll make the food particles easier for absorption without adding burden to the guts. • Eat-in smaller quantity. Overeating or heavy meals can trigger acidity. One way to maintain the balance is to eat only when you're hungry. • Do not lie down right after eating your meal or bend foreword,instead just sit idly for a while. • Follow regular eating time. Maintaining a long gap between each meal can let to excess gastric acid secretion triggering acidity. • Chewing a slice of ginger or drinking a ginger juice or tea for several times a day can help neutralise the acidity. • Add a few fennel seeds in water and boil them. Drink it for two times a day. You may also chew them. • Pineapple juice is highly recommended for acidity due to the bromelain present in it which helps in controlling the acid. • Add dietary fibres in your plate, consume more fruits and vegetables • Avoid spicy, oily junk foods, carbonated drinks or sodas, caffeinated drinks, smoking and drinking alcohol. • Utilise 45 minutes to an hour a day for physical fitness. This will help maintain your body structure, improve metabolism and reduce stress.
My wife is suffering from GERD disease/ acidity reflux.. When acidity comes she starts burping, she feels pain in chest. Bcz of this she is worried n her tension n depression increases

Namaste, Consumption of pitta (fire) aggravating foods and foods of incompatible nature (virudh aahar) vitiates all the doshas, predominantly pitta dosha. Vitiated doshas produce heating toxins that are expelled upwards into the food pipe causing heartburn. Increased intake of tea or coffee, or oily, spicy, or fried foods aggravates pitta and leads to acidity. An aggressive nature and hyperactivity are also causal factors. Pitta is aggravated by late night work schedules, irregular eating patterns, and/or drinking alcoholic and carbonated beverages. Increased intake of painkillers and antibiotics also cause acidity and heartburn. Symptoms Chest pain Heartburn Pain while swallowing food Avoid tea, coffee, and carbonated or alcoholic beverages. Avoid processed and fermented foods. Avoid using garlic, ginger, onions, tomatoes, and vinegar in cooking. Also avoid rich gravies, sour, salty, and spicy foods. Curd should be strictly avoided. Take meals in a relaxed atmosphere at regular intervals. Practice Yoga and Pranayama such as Vajrasana, Bhujangasana, Salabhasana, Bhastrika Pranayama, Shitali Pranayama and Shitkari Pranayama.
I wanted to know what is the correct time to take green tea. Earlier I use to take in morning soon I wake up but someone told green tea should not be taken in empty stomach. Is it true? And is green tea is not good for people having acidity problem as i have acidity sometime. Please guide me

नमस्ते शरीर में अम्ल की अधिकता के कारण कफ, पित्त और वात का संतुलन बिगड़ जाता है जिससे गले में संक्रमण पैदा हो रहा है। एनिमा किट मँगा लें । यह किट ऑनलाइन मिल जाएगा। इससे 100ml पानी गुदाद्वार से अंदर डालें और प्रेशर आने पर मल त्याग करें। ऐसा दिन में दो बार करना है अगले 21 दिनों के लिए। ये करना है ताकि शरीर में उपस्थित विषाणु निष्कासित हो जाये। शरीर को यह ज्ञान है कि ख़ुद को स्वस्थ कैसे रखना है। हम इस बात से अनभिज्ञ हैं। जब हमारी प्राणशक्ति हमें ऊर्जा दे रही होती है तो वह स्वास्थ्य की स्थिति है। जब हमारी प्राण शक्ति हमारे शरीर के अंदर विषाणुओं (toxic) को साफ़ करने में लग जाती है तो वह अस्वस्थ होने की स्थिति होती है। इस बीमारी का मूल कारण हाज़मा और क़ब्ज़ है। शरीर पाँच तत्व से बना हुआ है प्रकृति की ही तरह। आकाश, वायु, अग्नि, जल, पृथ्वी ये पाँच तत्व आपके शरीर में रोज़ खुराक की तरह जाना चाहिए। पृथ्वी और शरीर का बनावट एक जैसा 70% पानी से भरा हुआ। पानी जो कि फल, सब्ज़ी से मिलता है। 1 आकाश तत्व- एक खाने से दूसरे खाने के बीच में विराम दें। रोज़ाना 15 घंटे का उपवास करें जैसे रात का भोजन 7 बजे तक कर लिया और सुबह का नाश्ता 9 बजे लें। 2 वायु तत्व- लंबा गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें रुकें फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें ये एक चक्र हुआ। ऐसे 10 चक्र एक टाइम पर करना है। ये दिन में चार बार करें।I खुली हवा में बैठें या टहलें। 3 अग्नि तत्व- सूरर्य उदय के एक घंटे बाद या सूर्य अस्त के एक घंटे पहले का धूप शरीर को ज़रूर लगाएँ। सर और आँख को किसी सूती कपड़े से ढक कर। जब भी लेंटे अपना दायाँ भाग ऊपर करके लेटें ताकि आपकी सूर्य नाड़ी सक्रिय रहे। 4 जल तत्व- खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें और खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा करना है। नीम के पत्ते + खीरा का पेस्ट अपने गले पर रखें। 20मिनट तक रख कर साफ़ कर लें। मेरुदंड स्नान के लिए अगर टब ना हो तो एक मोटा तौलिया गीला कर लें बिना निचोरे उसको बिछा लें और अपने मेरुदंड को उस स्थान पर रखें। 5. पृथ्वी तत्व - कच्चे सब्ज़ी का जूस आपका मुख्य भोजन है। अगले सुबह ख़ाली पेट इनमे से कोई भी हरा जूस लें।पेठे (ashguard ) का जूस लें और नारियल पानी भी ले सकते हैं। बेल का पत्ता 8 से 10 पीस कर 100ml पानी में मिला कर छान कर पीएँ। खीरा 1/2 भाग + धनिया पत्ती (10 ग्राम) पीस लें, 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। दुब घास 25 ग्राम पीस कर छान कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। ये जूस सुबह नाश्ते से एक घंटे पहले लें। नाश्ते में फल लें। दोपहर के खाने से एक घंटा पहले हरा जूस लें। खाने में सलाद नमक सेंधा ही प्रयोग करें। नमक की पके हुए खाने में भी बहुत कम लें। सब्ज़ी पकने बाद उसमें नमक डालें। नमक पका कर या अधिक खाने से शरीर में (fluid) की कमी हो जाती। सलाद दोपहर 1बजे बिना नमक के खाएँ तो अच्छा होगा क्योंकि नमक सलाद के गुणों को कम कर देता है। सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें और नारियल पीस कर मिलाएँ। कच्चा पपीता 50 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। कभी सीताफल ( yellow pumpkin)50 ग्राम ऐसे ही डालें। कभी सफ़ेद पेठा (ashgurad) 30 ग्राम कद्दूकस करके डालें। ऐसे ही ज़ूकीनी 50 ग्राम डालें।कद्दूकस करके डालें।कभी काजू बादाम अखरोट मूँगफली भिगोए हुए पीस कर मिलाएँ। लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी लें। रात के खाने में इस अनुपात से खाना खाएँ 2 कटोरी सब्ज़ी के साथ 1कटोरी चावल या 1रोटी लें। रात 8 बजे के बाद कुछ ना खाएँ, 12 घंटे का (gap) अंतराल रखें। 8बजे रात से 8 बजे सुबह तक कुछ नहीं खाना है। एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस(solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें।ठोस भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ ले सकते हैं। जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन वर्जित हैं। तेल, मसाला, और गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा। चीनी के जगह गुड़ लें। हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें। शाम तक केवल पानी लें, प्यास लगे तो ही पीएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी और रात 8 बजे सलाद लें। धन्यवाद। रूबी, प्राकृतिक जीवनशैली प्रशिक्षिका व मार्गदर्शिका (Nature Cure Guide & Educator)
