Hey Kajal PCOD,irregular periods ,hormonal imbalances, these are all interrelated with each other. These results when we don't treat our body the way it should be treated. You are doing some wrong things in your lifestyle pattern or eating pattern and habits which has resulted in your present condition. Pay attention to your sleeping pattern. Get up early in the morning and sleep early at night. Don't sleep during the day. Our body receives sound sleep at night which is essential for the rest to whole body. Eat nuts, salads, seasonal vegetables, banana,watermelon, mango and all other seasonal fruits. Exclude dairy products from your diet. Do exercise and yoga,bhujang asana,paschimottan asana will be helpful.

Can someone guide me on coconut milk? When I use it in curries, it often separates. And for how long can it b kept? In fridge also it starts becoming sour after 24 hours or so.

Reason is simple that you are adding salt when flame is on. In any dish you put coconut milk please add coconut milk at the end. Let it warm for 2-3 minutes only and not cook for long as it changes coconut milk properties. then swith off the gas and then add salt. Other spices are ok to be added before.
I had pcos 2 years back it was not very critical. I got ok with medicines, but after that I started gaining weight. My thighs and lower abdomen started swelling. In past month the swelling got so bad that my usual clothes doesn't fit me. I am a office goer, so little to no exercise just walking. Please advice me some easy diet and easy exercises.

Hei Bavya , the basic things that you can easily incorporate in your daily routine for pcos are as follows :- 1. Eat 5 over night soaked figs first thing in the morning ( drink thay water too ) almonds 2. Totally avoid fast food or bakery products . 3. Have chapatis made from barley flour. 4. Have cinnamon rich green tea once now ( increase it's intake in winters ) 5. If you are not having any bp problem then do Kapal bati pranyam , pavan muktasan , 3 to 4 rounds of surya namskar . I m 28yrs old and suffering from pcos. I trying to conceive from the past 3years. My periods are not regular and i dont ovaluate,i have tried ayurveda but it didnt regularise my periods so i stopped.
