The food is not getting digested properly because of a bad metabolism which is causing bloating, diarrhoea, etc. The kind of food and the way of living like sleeping time, eating time, etc directly affects the body's metabolism and digestion. Hello Rashi. No matter the type of skin, the skin tends to get dry during winter, especially overnight. It's very important to moisturize your skin based on your skin type. First, identify if your facial skin is oily/dry/normal. Then identify if your body skin is oily/ dry. Do the following : 1. FOR DRY SKIN (FACE) : Wash your face with normal - cold water. Pat dry. Apply a mixture of coconut oil & sesame oil all over the face while massaging it in a circular motion. 2. FOR DRY BODY SKIN : COCONUT OIL is the best moisturizer! 3. FOR OILY/ ACNE PRONE SKIN : Wash your face, pat dry. Give an ice massage for 2- 5 minutes. Then apply 1- 2 tablespoons of sesame oil and massage the face in a circular motion. 4. Hello Kunji, Acidity is a common digestion related problem that is faced by many people nowadays because of the sedentary lifestyle and wrong choices of food. Tinea versicolor is sometimes associated with other symptoms, such as itching or dryness on or around the white patches. Another important cause of white patches on the skin is vitiligo, an autoimmune disorder that leads to the destruction of melanocytes, the cells that make the pigment that gives your skin color. White patches from vitiligo may come and go or they may be permanent. Here are some remedies for white patches. Drink water and consume foods from vessels that are made from copper. Especially drink water from a copper vessel that is kept overnight. Do not stress out much and try relaxing when you encounter a stressful moment. There are three types of food described in yoga which have its effect on the mind. Sattvic food, eat light, stay calm. Rajasik food is highly spiced making us overactive in everything and the mind feels uncertain. Tamasik food which makes our body lethargic. Negative thoughts are caused by stimulants such as tea, coffee, which give our body less sleep. By taking an initiative in a holistic way, you can overall help yourself. That is why, by taking a step towards holistic health, you can effectively treat yourself in nature's way. Eat: Start the day with two-three glasses of warm water, this will help in flushing out the toxins and improve the state of metabolism by increasing it. The next thing is the inclusion of vegetable juice in your breakfast as this will help in giving the right amount of energy for the day. Keep at least two hours gap between your food and your sleep timing at night. With a healthy change in the diet and your routine, we can deal with both the issues related to the problem of acidity. What makes a major difference is by changing lifestyles, we are not only curing the disease at this stage but also preventing it from recurring in the future. Now let us understand what changes we can make: Eat: Start your day with something light in nature and easy to digest. Breakfast should be of the kind of nutrients that get absorbed easily. The early morning ritual should include consumption of two-three glasses of warm water, it will help in flushing out all the toxins.
