I have OCD. I am using some ayurvedic medicine for that but at night my mind become hyperactive(excessive thought) that I am not able to sleep. As medicine I am using one ashwagandha capsule, almond oil drop in nose. Doing alunom vilom. But no improvement. Due to excessive problem I had to take one allopathy (lonazep md. 25) to cool my nervous system so that I can sleep. But can't take it daily. Other symptoms include headaches and eye strain. The following tips will help you to promote eye health. Have a healthy diet Several vitamins and nutrients are essential for eye health. Zinc, copper, selenium, Vitamin C, E and A are essential for eye health. So, it is essential to have a diet having all the nutrients. Have fresh fruits and vegetables daily. Include citrus fruits like lemon, oranges, blueberries, amla, etc. Drink green tea twice a day. It has antioxidant properties. Have overnight soaked raisins and other dry fruits. Avoid carbonated drinks and caffeinated drinks. Exercise Practice some exercises and yoga as this will help to improve the blood circulation in the body. Practice suryanamaskar daily. Take a pen and put it at a distance in front of your eyes. Slowly move it towards the eyes and keep your complete focus on the pen. Then again move it slowly to some distance. Repeat this 5 times and practice this exercise regularly. Practice pranayam regularly, specially anulom-vilom and kapalbhati pranayam. Sleep Sleep with your head elevated. Use a pillow that will keep your head raised for about 20 degrees and it has been known to decrease intraocular pressure while you sleep. Thank you
