Warm ginger lemon concoction mixed with a small amount of water helps. You can also keep chewing dry fruits often. If cough persists esp at night, you can soak dry fruits such as kishmish and take when coughing. This will soothe your throat.

The glandular system Though we may be the members of a single family, yet we all have different personalities on account of different ductless glands. The vast differences in our personalities depend upon the glands and they are responsible to make up one member of a family a versatile and knowledgeable person bestowing upon him an enviable position in society while on the other hand, another member of the same family may remain at the bottom of the rung. These glands are situated in different parts of our organism. Though it is astonishing to note that such small glands through their secretion of different hormones have a very important role to play in our overall personalities, by their over and under active roles they have a telling hold over a human organism for the entire life - they impart different qualities. Corn is basically caused by pressures which takes the form of an overgrowth. The pressure and growth are directly proportional. Causes can be tight/ narrow footware or tight stockings. Surgical intervention is not advisable as per natural cure. Possible solutions - Food wise - being on a majorly raw diet for atleast one month, removing products sourced from animals as food, sugar, processed foods, refined foods, packaged foods etc. Exercise for the sole and feet - such as cycling while sleeping on ur back, stretching ur foot up and down, rotations Cw and anti cw, standing on the edge of a step and pushing the heel down and pulling it up, feet reflexology where you sit and press all the points of your feet with both ur thumbs, massage the area around the corn gently to improve blood circulation and release of toxins from the area Hydrotherapy- take 2 buckets with hot and cold water. Dip ur feet in hot for 2 min and cold for 1 min. If you are suffering from bp, heart problems, liver or kidney issues, you can do the same with a warm cloth and cold cloth. Walk on grass if available for sometime in the morning sun. If grass is not available, but some red organic soil, water it and expose it to the sun for a day and stand and march in that container for few mins to ensure that your feet gets exposed to the nature. Thanks and be blessed. Lifestyle correction is the only way.
Recently a friend of mine, who’s a diabetic told me about stevia as an alternate to sugar. What is stevia? Is it safe to use?
Pramod Pathak
05:33 PM | 17-05-2019
Stevia is a leaf extract from a South American plant with the same name. It comes in powdered form, granules and also as tablets. This is a good healthy substitute for a diabetic person during the initial period when making a lifestyle change. Specially when trying to avoid all forms of refined sugar. This is best to beat sweet cravings and use in drinks in place of refined sugar. Remember the healthy food by ORS - Original, Regional and Seasonal. Stevia is best if you are in North America and Olive oil if you are in a Mediterranean Country.
A complete guide to cure diabetes : Part 2 - FAQs
There are many myths and confusions about diabetes and implementation challenges of what to eat, how much to eat and how to manage medicines. Here, in Part 2 of the blog series on diabetes, Nature Cure expert Swati Dhariwal addresses these FAQs. To read part 1 of this blog - A complete guide to cure diabetes, click here. 1) What diet should one take for diabetes? Raw vegan diet is the best for diabetics. Fresh and seasonal raw fruits and vegetables grown locally are the most suitable food. Raw vegan diet means only fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts and soaked groundnuts, chana, moong etc. They can be eaten as salads or individual fruits or consumed in form or juices smoothies. Why vegan? Because our digestive system is designed in such a way that it can digest plant based food faster than animal based foods. Animal based foods including milk and curd are highly mucous forming and toxin forming. Meat takes so much time to be processed through our intestines that by the ti
What's your opinion about using plasticware in kitchen including tupperware plastics?
Shubhi Khurana
09:14 PM | 06-01-2019
All plastics are bad in the long run, there is no good or bad plastics. Most plastics contain BPA or Bisphenol A which has been used to make polycarbonate plastics since 1960s. Polycarbonate plastics are often used in containers that store food and beverages, water bottles, lunch boxes, air-tight containers and also all cheap take away containers. Other plastic things like breadbags, producebags, squeezable bottles as well as coated paper milk cartons and hot/cold beverage cups contain LDPE. The research and debate continues on all these and related safety but some research has shown that BPA can seep into food or beverages from containers that are made with BPA. Exposure to BPA is a concern because of possible health effects of BPA on the brain, behavior and prostate gland of fetuses, infants and children. It has been shown to have a role in increasing the chances of male and female infertility, cancer and other metabolic disorders. Additional research suggests a possible link between BPA and increased blood pressure as well. While LDPE is considered to be low-toxinplasticand doesnot contain BPA, itcanleach estrogenic chemicals, much like HDPE, hence advised to be use with caution. In fact there are studies on harmful effect of heating naturally or microwaving food in plastic containers because the plastic may break down over time and allow BPA to leach into foods. Also it is advised not to put plastic containers in the dishwater for the same reason. There are also studies relating to harmful effect of drinking water from plastic water bottles kept in cars for long or during summers. One can do the following to reduce exposure to all plastics. Use alternatives like glass, porcelain or stainless steel containers for hot foods and liquids instead of plastic containers. Try replacing storage containers in kitchen cabinets with glass and stainless steel and fridge with steel and clothes bags. DO NOT DRINK WATER from plastic bottles kept in cars for long especially during summers. Reduce ordering food from outside and try home cooked food instead. Basically avoid exposure to plastics as much as possible

Well! jaggery is certainly a less refined food item than the regular white sugar. It is still sweet! Anyone who substitutes white sugar with jaggery still needs to do it in moderation. A diabetic needs to be all the more cautious. Your uncle must always make any dietary changes in consultation with the doctor only.

When external factors cannot be controlled, focus your efforts on what is under our control. So you or your husband could - simplify diet so there is less burden on the body ..that means majority of the diet should be based on fruits and veggies in raw form. Other foods are dehydrating and can cause migraine. Some sort of exercise preferably done outside Switch off from digital connection atleast in the weekend and spend time in nature Meditation before sleeping ad sleep by 10:00 p.m atleast four times in a week Palming can also be done for migraine relief.

Carbs don’t define how insulin resistance can be cured. What kind of fats ( oils and non-vegan diets or natural nuts and seeds ) are you on? What kind of healthy sugars are you on? How much fruit are you eating in a day ? When do you eat fruit? What is your daily schedule of eating and what do you specifically eat. Give us 2-3 days general routine. Please get back with these answers.
Hi! My sister has a tendency to develop stones in her kidney. She has already had 3 re-occurrences. We were able to get rid of the stones through the urinary passage. However, it’s a very painful process. Recently, she started developing similar symptoms again! It’s very scary. I am wondering why stones happen and is there any way to stop them from forming again and again!! Plz help.

I congratulate for rightly identifying this as a symptom, not the cause! That’s a clue indeed. The discomforting health conditions are SYMPTOMS only. Whenever we endeavour to get rid of ONLY the symptoms, it amounts to suppressions. Suppressions are nothing but alienation of the symptoms for some time. The symptom reoccurs or gets surfaced in other form(s) of symptom(s), unless the CAUSE is addressed for its CURE. The cause is a state of LACK OF CONSERVED VITALITY* due to knowing/unknowing and useless engagements of the vitality of the individual in terms of the physical, physiological and psychological involvements. Due to lack of conserved vitality, the individual suffers reduced output from the body which leads to the accumulation of toxin. In Pure Nature Cure, it is called as TOXAEMIA. Stone formation is always resulted due to repeated suppression of the toxaemic condition. The recurrence of the stone formation is obvious if the individual does not reverse the lifestyle factors towards the better habit of RESTING or CONSERVATION OF VITALITY. RIGHT HABIT OF RESTING is the solution towards conservation of vitality. RESTING PHYSICALLY, RESTING PHYSIOLOGICALLY, RESTING PSYCHOLOGICALLY, as much as possible. This would lead to CONSCIOUS CONSISTENT CONSERVATION OF VITALITY*. Which would lead to reversal of the cause, naturally. CONSCIOUS CONSISTENT CONSERVATION OF VITALITY* is the only route towards holistic wellness. This can happen in the following adoptions. RIGHT INPUT HABITS - MORE TIME IN SUN, FRESH AIR, EATING A LOT OF RAW FRUITS AND VEGETABLE. BALANCED PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES INCLUDING QUALITY SLEEP, UNDERSTANDING OF SENSE OF SEX and STRESS-FREE MENTAL ENVIRONMENT. Hi, for a healthy person, should we get regular/ yearly tests and check-ups done? Or should we wait for our body to give signals when we are unwell?
PSYsolution by Kalyan
10:58 AM | 22-03-2019
Medical diagnostics measures the EFFECTS of the respective state of wellness. These cannot bring any changes in the CAUSAL modifications. The CAUSE of the health problems lies in the habits of conservation of vitality. Regular check-ups and monitoring of the Voice of the Organism is indeed necessary for a healthy life. The voice of the organism is nothing but monitoring and understanding of own feelings and its stimuli mindfully, to modify our rational responses towards it. Whenever we have any good feeling/experience about something, we need to pause and identify if the stimulus of that good feeling is natural or humanly modified. For example, Mango and Mango jam both give us good tastes as feeling. But the first stimulus is natural, whereas the second one is humanly modified. We need to discard the modified ones and accept the natural stimulus of good feelings to bring our wellness synced with Nature and its structure of voice of the organism. On the other hand, for a bad feeling, we need to discard the stimulus, irrespective of the fact, whether it is natural or not! Similarly, we have various inner indications in terms of our voice of the organism. The quality of those indications gives us notions about our wellness. For example, the quality of sleep, stool, urine, thirst, hunger and overall sense of life give us indications to the levels of the conserved vitality that we have in our body. The satisfactory qualities of these responses indicate a good state of wellness. Otherwise, we need to go back to the right habits of resting to bring back better qualities. RIGHT HABITS OF RESTING is the solution towards conservation of vitality. RESTING PHYSICALLY RESTING PHYSIOLOGICALLY RESTING PSYCHOLOGICALLY, as much as possible. This would lead to CONSCIOUS CONSISTENT CONSERVATION OF VITALITY*. Which would lead to the reversal of the cause, naturally. CONSCIOUS CONSISTENT CONSERVATION OF VITALITY* is the only route towards holistic wellness. This can happen in the following adoptions. Haricot Beans Salad - a complete meal of live foods!
Sprouts are “live foods”, that provide more nutrients than most other food groups. Sprouted haricot beans, put together with finely chopped vegetables is a delicious way of having sprouts as a salad. Top up with a lemony dressing, like in this recipe or any other traditional chutney to get a chatpata sprout salad. It is high in nutrients as well as fibre, serves as a hearty meal and is yummy too! You could use the same recipe for other beans like chowli or rajma too.
I am in early stage of my pregnancy. I wish to know what type of millets (Jowar, ragi, bajra, amaranth, chana etc. )are suitable for my first, second and third trimester? Also what type of millets will he suitable in what weather? Currently the weather is cold, being winter months, going towards summer.

Hi! Great to know you are thinking of including millets in your diet during pregnancy. There is no specific guideline for which millet is suitable in any particular trimester of pregnancy. You can have all of them in moderation. The idea behind including millets in your meal is to ensure diet and nutrient diversity. The more diverse your diet is in terms of the grains, vegetables and fruits, the healthier and more nutritious it is. So the same thumb rule applies for millets, try to include all /most of them in different ways. Different millets are rich in different nutrients. Ragi is excellent for calcium, foxtail millet is rich in protein, bajra/pearl millet is rich in iron and a good source of folic acid, etc. You can easily find them in stores nowadays or online. Some key things to keep in mind when you start off with millets: 1. As a beginner, try to do it just once a day and make sure they are cooked well. Under-cooked millets will cause dehydration and digestion issues. Easier recipes are khichdi, kheer etc where they can be cooked mushy but if you learn how to cook them fluffy and perfect you can experiment with many more recipes. 2. Increasing millets in your diet means increasing fibre, so increase your water intake as well. 3. Going towards summer, if you find that any type of millet is causing ‘heat’ in your body, pair it with cooling spices like saunf.or coriander. You could even use them in fermented recipes like the south Indian congee or the Rajasthani Raab or even in Idli Dosa batters. Besides increasing the B-complex in the food, fermentation also makes them more ‘cool’ for the body. 4. Do not eat the same quantity of millets as you would of white rice/wheat. Since these are fibre rich & nutrient dense they need to be eaten in smaller portions. 5. Millets keep us feeling fuller for a longer duration and provide sustained energy for longer. This does not mean that they are not being digested. We just need to adjust the quantity we consume as per our meal-frequency. For more queries and an easy cooking guide to millets, you can visit the following linkhttps://milletsforhealth.wordpress.com/2019/02/11/an-easy-guide-to-millet-cooking/
My friend's 4 1/2 year old daughter doesn't want to drink milk. She gets a stomach ache after drinking milk. I understand we can give yogurt, cheese as substitutes for calcium. But would anyone know how much quantity to give. Is there some chart to understand how much quantity approximately of let's say yogurt or any other item with calcium be consumed to reach daily calcium requirement.
Asha Shivaram
05:33 PM | 20-12-2018
You don't need to have milk to meet calcium requirements. The fact that the child is getting stomah pain shows that she is not able to digest it well. In fact , 3 in 4 Indians cant digest milk products well. Give the child a varied diet of fruits, veggies and nuts and calcium requirement is autmatically taken care of. Greens, beans and nuts are high in calcium too.

Hello. Try having not more than one grain meal in a day. For eg: If you are eating roti / chawal in lunch, keep breakfast & dinner grain free. That's because grains are difficult to digest foods & most of the grains are acidic. In breakfast you can have fruits - as is or in the form of juices or smoothies, dairy-free & sugar-free though. For ideas, visit the recipes section of wellcure. For dinner, you can do salads or soups. Also, don't take stress. You will be fine soon with these natural changes. Stress will only aggravate your acid reflux. You must focus on relaxing. Sleep well, sit in the sun, deep breathe. All the best dear.
My husband is diabetic and takes insulin shots. Recently his reports showed keytones (2) present. Is there any natural way to flush it out from body? What does having Keytones means?

Hi. Ketones are chemicals that start building up in the body when the body burns fat for energy. This happens in 2 scenarios - 1. The person is not eating a balanced diet, i.e. a low carb diet. Else body gets energy from carbs. If carb intake is low, the body ends up burning fat for energy. 2. Insulin is less. Due to low insulin, glucose is unable to enter the body cells. As a result, sugar levels in blood increase & cells depend on burning fat for getting their energy fuel. In Natural Healing, we always look at treating the root cause & not the symptom. The ketone build up is a symptom, in your husband's case, it is probably because of diabetes. But even diabetes is a symptom, the root cause for which is an imbalance in the body. Our body has a state of homeostasis (a state of balance). Whenever that is disturbed, it manifests into one disease or the other. Whether you ask how to treat ketones or you ask how to treat diabetes, the answer is the same in Natural Laws - Body heals itself, just support it through natural inputs. Well, there is no shortcut to this, once you make up your mind, changes will happen. Please go to the Journeys section of Wellcure and read diabetes reversal stories, you'll know what I mean :-). Best will be to take guidance from diabetes reversal experts (all natural) such as Dr Pramod Tripathi of 'Freedom from diabetes' or Dr Nandita Shah of 'Sharan'. Take care pls.

Hello there! Remember its a step by step journey. In my case I struggled for the same. At one point of time I was having 2 glasses of milk daily! If I was hungry, but busy, milk would be an easy thing to just gulp down. But once I understood its close association with all lifestyle diseases (esp diabetes and cancer), how today's milk is actually being produced , and that we are indeed the only species drinking milk way into adulthood, I made the switch. Now to your question of making the switch step by step, here is how I dealt with it: It was easy to give up the milk, as the impact on my health was immediate I was not much ofa paneer eater in any case, but enjoyed the occassional palak paneer and panner tikka! Over the years, at times I still eat it. However the focus has been more on addition vs. deletion / depriving myself. So instead of palak paneer, a lot of times we do palak corn, palak gobhi, palak aaloo varieties. At parties, I still dig into paneer tikkas, knowing that next day I will balance it out :) Cashew cream is a great addition - its whole nuts, body absorbs it well, and with a wholesome diet which includes fruits and veggies, weight is also not a challenge. It just goes wonderfully well as a dairy replacement in all your curries, daal makhani, soups and even as a topping on home made pizzas. Check out in recipe section cashew based dips Cheese - well its a lot of salt and additives/ preservatives & a fibreless food. If you like it, satiate your mind by having it once in a while. As you progress on your journey, you will eat with increasing awareness, and reach a point, where you wont crave it any more In you weekly meals add some cheat meals - food which indulge your mind. So occassional pizza, paneer dishes are fine, balance it with lots of raw fresh foods and home made juices next day - your body will work easily to eliminate the harmful impact Yes, as advocated by everyone Peanut curd is a saviour! It will help reduce family conflict too. One week make usual dairy Kadhi ...other week try peanut curd based kadhi. Slowly every one will switch over (or atealst eat what you offer at the table!) It wil take some time to get into the routine of making peanut based curd, but I was amazed how one cannot at tell the difference in most dishes All the best!

Hi. Hypothyroidism, also called underactive thyroid or low thyroid is a condition in which your thyroid gland doesn't produce enough of certain important hormones. It upsets the normal balance of chemical reactions in your body. While we commonly refer to 'thyroid' as a health issue, it is actually the body’s way of indicating to us that the hormones are out of balance. Our body always works for us to be in good health. We just have to support it correctly & this can be done by staying in-sync with nature. Hence avoid all foods and all products that are unnatural. Chemicals are a key reason for hormonal imbalance because chemicals are hormone disruptors. Where do these chemicals come from? These chemicals come in our food when we eat non-organic food. Chemicals come in packaged food as preservatives & other artificial agents. We unknowingly put chemicals in or on our body when we use toothpaste, mouth wash, shampoos, soaps, make-up, perfumes and talcum powders. Chemicals are also all around us in our houses when we use air fresheners, pest control and cleaning agent. Another cause of hormonal problems is the hormones that we are taking in…in the form of dairy & dairy products, eggs & flesh food. The food suppliers inject hormones in all these animals in our food chain so that they grow faster and yield more. What can you do? Eat whole plant-based foods. Try to eat organic if you can know the source of your food in a credible manner. Say no to animal products. Avoid packaged foods Shift to natural personal & home care products. I'll also suggest you watch this video by Sadhguru - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VZF-F6LRwU&t=743s I would like to close by saying that thyroid - hypo or hyper - is definitely not something that you have to live with. Give it some time & disciplined effort, you will be healed for life. If you would like to know more, please send me a message one-on-one through my profile.....Best wishes dear!!
What food to be taken to reduce creatinine levels
Smitha Hemadri
05:17 PM | 29-01-2019
In nature cure there is no concept like this m. This is the language of the medical field which unfortunately all of us are used to either understanding or speaking. Depends on how bad the kidney has deteriorated at this point . Is it at the level of dialysis - basically acute or chronic. High bp must usually be also a symptom of kidney issues. I would advice anyone to be on full raw without any nuts or seeds. Raw includes only fruits veggies and green leaves in this context. Ofcourse doctors say no banana mangoes etc, but have in moderation. Once a week dry to water fasting Daily 16 hrs fasting - from dinner to next lunch. Kidneys basically needs a break from work to focus on healing. For this to happen fasting is the best mode to heal. Eliminations of toxins will happen, headaches fever cold coughs pains in abdomen etc can happen, but sticking to raw is the best. Ask yourself why did creatinine go down in the first place.. this is just a side effect. Fixing the root cause - kidney malfunctioning, why is kidney malfunctioning, because there is so much toxin and protein in the 1-1.5 gallons of blood which goes through cleansing in the kidney 20 times each hour. There are millions of filters in the kidney and when each of them start to clog bcoz of the viscous blood and toxic blood, they stop filtering. If you don’t wash your tea filter daily, over time the filter has to be soaked in water, burnt over the fire and then dusted or cleaned. Likewise, the poor kidneys needs to have clean blood to purify. For the blood to be clean, the body needs to be leading a healthy lifestyle eating foods that heal, that body recognize more ( raw ). If we are not mindful about this fact, I am sure body ceases to function normally. Please fix the lifestyle instead of just reactively eating foods that keep the creatinine low. This latter approach is short lived .
