Hello Ji, Avoid spicy, oily and sour foods. Eat fresh, unprocessed food. Increase the use of herbs that have cooling effects on the body like fennel, coriander seeds, Indian gooseberry (amla) and aloe vera. Wash your face frequently with mild herbal soaps. Avoid irritant cosmetics. Do not squeeze the acne lesions. Prepare a powdered mixture of coriander seeds, fennel, basil, turmeric and Indian gooseberry (amla) in equal parts. Take ½ teaspoon of this powder 15 minutes before lunch and dinner. Have 1 teaspoon of powdered Indian gooseberry fruit (amla) in morning and evening with water.
Is microwaved food unsafe?

Hi To begin with, as per natural living system food is not to be heated as heating food at high temperatures destroys the enzymes and nutritional elements of food. This food is no more nourishing for the body. So, re-heating can not be considered a good option in any case. Further, microwaves use radiations to heat the food. And these radiations end up altering the molecular composition of the food. Hence not a great option. Personally, I do not have a microwave at home and it is a conscious choice!

Hello Deepthi Ji, Dandruff is a huge problem if not handled correctly, I had the same issue but cured it completely with the help of coconut oil as a carrier mixed with tea tree essential oil(few drops). I would advise you to use cold pressed virgin coconut oil. Aloe vera also does wonders in such conditions as aloe vera has antibacterial and antifungal properties. It will decrease inflammation and thereby itching too. Apply fresh aloe vera onto scalp and leave for sometime than wash it with some natural shampoo. Good luck :)

Homemade Natural Deodorant- DIY Cosmetic Recipe
Our skin is the largest organ of elimination in our bodies. Sweating is a way for the body to throw out toxins and cool the body too. Deodorants act by blocking the pores of the skin and prevent sweating. Commercially available deodorants contain many harmful chemicals least of all which is aluminium. These cause toxicity and hormonal issues. It is better instead to wear a sleeveless top in case you are worried about sweat. However, if you are still in need of a deodorant on occasion, here is an easy DIY deo recipe which can be made from easily available ingredients.
Hi... Any natural measures to tackle blocked drains in kitchen and bathroom?
Mohan M

Mostly in many kitchens water is blocked due food particles are found. Wastage of rice, some veggies and curry leaf or drained in the water sink. Best measure is, before putting any vessel for washing, remove all those waste and put it in carry bag and maintain a dustbin for that.. and wash only vessel so that water flow will happen smoothly without any blockage. Same thing for bathroom, hairs and dry soap waste will be stagging in the water sink, so remove the same and maintain a basket with carry bag accordingly. Some Home remedies: Vinegar (white or apple cider vinegar work) is the acidic base for creating the foaming reaction. Lemon juice is acidic like vinegar, but smells refreshing. This makes lemon juice a good option for clearing out clogged kitchen sinks. Baking soda is frequently used as a multipurpose cleanser. Salt will help eat away at the clog. For a vinegar and baking soda combination: use 1/2 cup of baking soda and 1/2 cup of white vinegar. For a lemon juice and baking soda combination: use 1 cup of baking soda and 1 cup of lemon juice. or Boil at least 6 cups of hot water or several kettles full of water. Uncover the drain and slowly pour the hot water down. If you have plastic piping, just use very hot water. Avoid pouring boiling water in the drain If the water is still draining slowly, repeat the process again until the drain becomes clear. Thanks
Hi! I have observed in most of the recipes on Wellcure, vegetables are steamed instead of being pressure cooked. Is pressure cooking harmful? How about stir frying?

Cooking openly in a vessel and steaming it is much healthier than pressure cooking. Steamed veggies are next best to having raw foods. Steaming means we expose the veggies to steam and they get cooked vs cooking under pressure. Pressure cooking is so much a part of Indian cooking system where things like Opos and other pressure cooking has come into picture to make life simple. Steaming under moderately low temperatures in a vessel with lid covered is best. When you cook it in the right containers, they take longer to cook and retain some of the essential nutrients too. The amount of loss of positive food factors like vitamins organic minerals etc differs with diff styles of cooking. The following are the methods in the order of their goodness. 1) baking in a closed oven with a cover over the vessel. Baking can happen in an oven or a mud based oven etc 2) steaming in a closed receptacle 3) boiling with minimum of water needed, the escape of vapour being controlled by a closed lid like a pressure cooker without a whistle These are called conservative methods of cooking Roasting and frying with grease is not recommended. You can however use sprinkles of water and keep closing a lid to cook the veg in less water thereby appearing it to look like fried. But using oil ghee etc is definitely not ok from a health perspective Cooking in the type of container also matters. Prefer steel , cast iron, soapstone, clay, glass bakeware can be used. Hope this helps

A handful of rocksalt does a lot of magic to clean the floor and surfaces . Dissolve a handful of that in water and use that water to clean. You can add some neem / orange peels or lemon peels in some hot water and let it rest. Use that water in a bucket full of water and use that to clean the surfaces naturally.

Rasse Wala Aloo Curry Oil Free!
This is a much loved standard curry in Indian homes. But cooking it without oil? Yes thats possible, with no compromise on flavour! When we made this the first time, we realised the ample addition of lovely herbs and masalas just makes it so flavourful that no oil was missed at all! The easy trick to go oil free in most curry preps is: Steaming veggies (including potatoes) and making the masala the usual way without oil ofcourse!
