What are ways to reduce anxiety and stress in my life?
Mehak

Exercise is a great way to burn off anxious energy along with meditation. It can help to slow racing thoughts, making it easier to manage stress and anxiety. Also Time management plans works like some people feel anxious if they have too many commitments at once. These may involve family, work, and health-related activities. Having a plan in place for the next necessary action can help to keep this anxiety at bay. Herbal teas(exclusion of milk) also contribute towards dealing with stress and anxiety like chamomile tea Share your thoughts by either writing or having conversation with your family but don't pile up and don't forget to have excess food consumption to overcome it.

I came across a patient today, who had come to me for fatty liver treatment. On taking history I found out that she was eating a full box of chalk daily for the last one year. She refuses to give it up. She is a 29 year old married female with two kids. Any suggestions on how I may help her in a natural way? I have already counselled her on healthy eating and planned a balanced diet for her.

Namaste She needs to get in touch with the earth. She must work with her bare hands. Plant trees, tend to them, water them and be among them. She could grow as many greens as possible and consume them with her salads. Apart from that following the eight principles of health would slowly help her overcome the cravings for chalks. The eight principles are 1 Sun exposure 2 Fresh air. Regulated conscious diaphragmatic breathing. 3 Hydration through fresh, local, seasonal fruits and vegetables. 4 Grounding as I have explained above 5 physical activity as in gardening, yoga and walking. 6 Rest. Physical, mental and physiological. Get adequate sleep. 7 Eliminate. Old matter from the bowels. Unimportant and stressful matters from the mind. Unwanted stuff from home. 8 Fresh plant based food. No animal products. No dairy. No processed or packaged stuff. Only fresh and whole plant based foods. Be happy be healthy always Swati Dhariwal Kayakalp.

What I have understood is that the root cause of any ailment/aches/pains in the body is a toxic built up inside the body, due to wrong eating habits, sedentary lifestyle, stress etc. And as your body is in state of detox so aches and pains are bound to appear. I would suggest you to increase the 3 'R's- raw, rest and recreation. Please also make sure you are getting enough sunlight exposure 1 hour everyday. I would also suggest intermittent fasting - i.e gap between dinner and next day breakfast should be minimum of 14 hours. Apply ginger juice mix with coconut oil and wrap with bandage (garam patti) on all joints that pain. I had fbromyalgia too. Maybe you can get some inspiration from my story. https://www.wellcure.com/health-journey/tags/fibromyalgia

Hi! My husband had fruits for dinner last night. This morning he had another cup of herbal tea….. He has been getting loose motions. Could it be because of fruits/tea? Should I give him ORS?

Mosambi (Sweet lime juice) - beat the heat naturally!
Sweet lime or mosambi juice is a common summer drink to beat the heat. Mosambi is a citrus fruit, which is nature's storehouse of Vitamin C and is, therefore, a must have in your daily intake. Simple and quick to make, mosambi juice also has a detoxifying effect on our body - flushes out toxins and neutralizes the harmful effects of stress and pollution. Juice some fresh, sweet mosambi and enjoy this divine drink for taste or for health or both! You could use an electric juicer to extract the juice. Don't have one, no worries! Check out how to get your favourite mosambi juice without an electric juicer.

Hi! We are all hearing so much about the ill-effects of gadgets and radiations on our body. However, these are so much a part of our daily lives and even our children are not spared. I was wanting to check with others in this community, what are some measures you people are taking to at least minimize these ill-effects?

Key is balance and moderation. If we are mindful we can protect ourselves yet benefit from the technology. Sharing the personal changes I have made: Switch off wi-fi if not being used Use headphones ( not bluetooth headphone) or speaker for long calls Always keep mobile at a distance from the body while sleeping (6-7 ft) Try to do digital fast for 1 day in a fortnight

In a party , what you should choose , salads or cooked food?

Hi there, in parties, honestly I do not fret so much. At the party, I eat whatever is available. What I focus on in is the next day. I make sure next day is usually a raw day or at max one cooked meal a day. I sleep a little longer to allow body some recoup time from all that digestion. I am on fruits till noon after a binge night. Usually will have my juice the next day for sure (even if other wise I am not that regular)

My 4 YEAR old is having fever reaching 101 to 102 degrees since last night. When we couldn't manage it at night, I ended up giving him crocin syrup. But since then I am feeling really bad about it and don't want to give him any medicine now. I m more worried about when temperature starts to soar. Can you please help me know how I should care for my child when down with high fever?

With my 3 year old, when he was little I would sometimes give him the medicine - but now the doses have been inversely proportional to my growth in wellness journey :) If you are giving medicine, know that you are giving it for your own comfort rather than his! If you are giving, give the full dose, and give without guilt . Know that the body has its own supreme intelligence, and while meds to interfere with internal thermostat, body will deal with it! Just to reiterate, all symptoms of body are, indicators to us that the body’s acid-alkaline balance is skewed. Cough, cold, fever are body’s wonderful mechanisms to discharge and reduce this acidic overload. The body creates fever as a mechanism to purify blood of the infection, so don’t fear it. During this time you should ensure you are able to support your child. This you can do by ensuring you allow your child to rest amply and increase his intake of raw foods. Make sure you are able to give complete rest to the digestive system through no cooked food. Upping the babies fruits, will help during this time. Fruits are best way to keep the raw high, kids usually fuss also less when eating fruits. You could do them in interesting smoothies and home made fruit juices. Feed him only when hungry, don’t’ force feed. Give him fruits every 2-3 hours. You can give him a some lemon-ginger-honey-haldi with tulsi. This can also be done when he has a cough - applying a warm potlee with ajwain in it to his chest or rubbing a little ginger juice with oil on the chest and back also helps. Add eucalyptus oil into his bath. Read this article on Fever https://www.kckidsdoc.com/kc-kids-doc/5-fabulous-fever-facts-fighting-fever-fobia-part-12

Go for only fruit, raw vegetable salads and raw veg juice diet for 1-2 days with lots of rest. Just target for a day at a time. Go for pineapples they give lot of relief in cold and fever. Go for fruits with high water content as they are most efficient detoxifiers. Do onion juice with honey twice a day. You must know that the body is sending a signal for rest, physically mentally and digestively. Along with lowering your digestive load, make sure you are resting well and amply. Sleep earlier if not already doing, and go in the sun too.

I am a part of various health groups. I have heard contradicting views about consuming fruits in combination verses single fruit at a time. Anyone who can share their views/personal experience regarding this? I often wonder if its fine to have a bowl full of mixed fruits!

Hello True, there are lots of confusing information around. What I have learnt in my experience is that mono fruit is the best, as it is easier for our body to digest and assimilate. But at the same time if you feel like having a combination of fruits, you could still go ahead, it will not pose a great hazard to your general health. With time the cleaner you eat, your senses would become sharper and you will be able to make the right choices. You just need to see and touch the fruits. If your taste buds get activated and the smell makes you salivate then just go ahead and have that fruit. Sometimes certain fruits will appeal to you more and some won’t. Just go with your gut feeling and you will be making no mistakes. Be Healthy Be Happy Always

PSY nature cure courses by Kalyan Sarkar gives a very good foundation for understanding how nature cure works. Apart from that thac and Arun Sharma’s workshops are helpful too for nature cure. Sharan has great programs on whole food plant based diets.

I have noticed that when I eat more raw vegetables in form of salads especially if there are more leafy greens added I get a lot of bloating. It is very frustrating and discouraging at the same time. Is it just me or is it normal?

Hi. No it's not just you :-). There are others who have asked similar questions here before. Refer to Q&A thread 1 & Q&A thread 2 to know more. Hope it will be of help.

I am 37 year old and slightly obese (82 kg at 5"9 height) and no other major health problem. Whenever I try to fast, after 3-4 hours some mild pain starts across my chest area and it keeps increasing till I don't eat something. It goes away completely after a meal. What can this pain be? Do I need to worry?

Hi healing crisis happens when we give the body some rest from digestion always. It tries to start a cleanup. It’s quite possible that the pains your experiencing is a healing crisis or detox . Don’t do a dry fast unless your body is ready for it. When we train the body to slowly go from grains to no grains to cooked legumes to cooked veggies to fruits to veg juices to water to dry.. by the time you get to this last stage .. u would have healed from everything and body will be naturally ready to fast. Don’t force fast without realising that body will do it’s intended job - to clean you in a rigourous way. So when you fasted and crisis happened and pain was experienced , you feared that the fasting gave you pain and you ate. You then felt the pain vanish. This is because you chose to divert the attention of the body to shift to digestion and not cleanup or fixing. This issue will come up in future .. but please learn the ways of working of the body before you attempt something because someone tells you it’s good to fast. Reach us if you have more questions

Orange Ginger Juice
Orange ginger juice is an incredibly refreshing and healthy way to start your day. This blend of orange with ginger gives a juice with mild to medium sweetness, with a little zing from ginger. Orange is citrus fruit, which is practically omnipresent during the winter months. Orange juice combined with ginger juice is a potential contender to other detoxifying drinks that may lose out on taste factor! Yes, a tastier way to get rid of toxins. Taste bhi, health bhi! Orange juice is a great hit with kids as well! But then packaged orange juices are full of refined sugar and preservatives. Here's a homemade way to get the favourite drink with a little twist of ginger!

Good morning, my one year old baby is having severe mouth infection the ulcers are all over his lips and mouth. Pls advice In the morning he always always eats banana and doesn't even taste the other fruits. He is not on any kind of dairy products. He takes the powder milk. But doesn't enjoy his eating time usually. He is an active baby. Sleeps well. What can I give him to eat.

Kindly remove dairy ( even powder milk is milk in another form, ghee, paneer, butter, curd ) sugar meat from his lifestyle. Ulcers are an elimination of an acidic stomach and inefficiently digested meal over long periods of time. His constipation is a big reason that he has mouth ulcers. U have to remove him from dairy immediately and meat or eggs. Does she have rashes on her hands and foot by any chance? Is the ulcer white in color in the mouth? Does she have fever too ? I understand it can be painful, but taking any form of medication irritates and oral mucosa by upsetting the work of the digestive system as a whole. Kids who are off acidic animal foods and medications usually don’t get ulcers of the mouth. Constipation’s means that he has been storing a lot of old poop in his body and his blood is also carrying toxins and inflammation of stomach or mouth and other parts are happening.’ Give the child lots of coconut water. Bananas are ok. Avoid citric juices for now. Gargle the mouth with ashgourd juice 3-4 times a day. If this is not available then snake gourd juice can be used to gargle or rinse the mouth. If you see the Durva grass or the one they use for Ganesh Pooja, u can grind and use that for rinsing too. This is only for the relief of pains of the ulcers. To remove constipation’s which is the cause, like I said go off diary, add soft fruits and juices for few days until he poops. Give raw spinach and grapes mix juice. U can filter spinach if you want but keep the green grapes unfiltered. If he continues to be constipated he can develop fissures. So be careful and remove this issue asap. Apply a cold abdominal wet pack for the child 3-4 times. Once the cloth becomes warm, dip in cold water and repeat the process for 10 mins. If meds are given this time, then kindly do this process anyways and for future please avoid all kinds of animal foods and medications for your child. He will slowly detox and wilL not get into such situations again. Body can only take so much toxins and once it’s topped off, it throws out in such forms. He can get similar issues in future if care is not taken to let the body release it naturally. Be blessed

I just got red poha.... How nutritious are they for snack or breakfast?
Anchal Kapur
05:37 PM | 19-02-2019
As everyone has already explained that the best breakfast is fruits, I'll not repeat it :-) In addition to that, if you want to eat poha, just view it from a whole vs processed scale. The more your poha or any other food item is towards 'whole' on this scale, the more nutritious it is & easy for body to absorb its nutrients. So yes red poha maybe closer to 'whole' than regular white poha, though both are processed foods.....And always beware of marketing gimmicks, know your brand or vendor well to make the right choice.

Cinnamon & Saunf tea - no dairy tea to keep you warm
Firstly I would mention the fennel and cinnamon tea benefits ie, it is a easy and effective way to loose weight and body fat. The combination of cinnamon and fennel tea reduce unwanted added weight from your body. This is an effective and simple weight loss recipe which helps to shed extra kilos. This is detox drink recipe.

What are those top 10 daily or weekly habits that one should start in their life to get the benefits of natural health and cure? We know we should not eat toxic food etc but one can't suddenly leave a habit or taste buds formed in years, so need to know the small changes one can make which are easy to adopt and realistic.

Hi. Pick one habit at a time, follow it for 10 days & then add the next. As you change your habits, your taste buds will change!! Which one you want to pick first, depends on you. I will say start with the easiest and then keep picking up more & more difficult ones. Here's my list of 10 - Replace tea/coffee with healthy teas or drinks. Replace cooked breakfast with fruits. Have vegetable juice every noon & evening. Have raw veggie salads with lunch & dinner, atleast 50% to be raw. OR have cooked lunch & raw dinner. Replace milk with nut milk. Replace wheat roti with other grain rotis / dosas / chillas. Replace white salt with rock salt - this is very easy to do as there is no change in the taste. Replace packaged snacks with roasted makhanas, peanuts, chana, murmure, seeds, nuts, fruits, salads, etc. Avoid white sugar products like mithaai, cakes, pastries. Replace evening snacks with fruits.

What are the closest but healthy replacements for regular tea? I know the sugar and dairy part is not healthy but we have got addicted to its morning routine and taste. Need help to get out of its habit.
