I am a 25 year old female. I am following a plant based diet for a couple of months (detox juice in the morning, fruits breakfast, grain meal lunch and soup or salad for dinner). I do yoga everyday. Have seen a lot of reduction in my allergy levels. However I am experiencing irregular periods. I am trying to conceive and have mild PCOD. My cycles came once in 50 days for past 2 months. Now it's more than 60 days and I have not got my periods. Facing hairfall and constipation too.

I am so stressed and scared about my hair fall,my hair is too thin and bald area is also visible. Please suggest best natural treatment to prevent haifall and regrow hair?

Hello Anshu, Eye health greatly depends on the diet and the products that we use. It also depends on the surrounding pollution.  What to do? Wash your eyes with cold water 3 to 4 times a day. Put 2 drops of gulab jal in your eyes. Eat fresh green leafy vegetables and fresh, seasonal fruits.  Include salads, sprouts, nuts, and beans in your diet.  Protect your eyes from dust, dirt, and pollution by using glasses. Avoid the excessive use of electronic devices like mobiles, laptops, computers, tv, etc. Drink plenty of water throughout the day.  Sleep Sleeping is important as it relieves the stress. Take proper sleep of at least 7-8 hours daily. Sleep early at night and also wake up early in the morning.  Exercise and yoga  Perform shirsha asana. This will improve blood circulation.  Do pranayam, specially anulom-vilom pranayam.  Thank you

Hello User, Eye health greatly depends on our diet, lifestyle and sleeping pattern. Using excessive electronic equipments like computer, laptops, TV, etc, pollution, dust and stress may lead to eye problems and weak eyesight.  For healthy eyes, some lifestyle and dietary changes are necessary.  Diet Start the day with a glass of warm water. This will help to remove the toxins out of the body.  Include Vitamin C in your diet like have lemon juice or orange or amla. Have soaked nuts, dry fruits and sprouts to get the easily absorbable nutrients.  Have carrots, fresh green leafy vegetables like spinach and fresh fruits. Drink plenty of water throughout the day to be hydrated.  Habits Put gulab jal in your eyes. Wash the eyes with cold water 3 to 4 times a day.  Make a habit of doing exercise or yoga daily. Perform ardha shirsha asana, parvat asana as they will improve the blood circulation. Avoid excessive use of electronic devices like mobiles, laptops, tv, computers, etc. Walk barefoot on grass early in the morning.  Soak sunrays early in the morning.  Sleep Lack of sleep and stress may cause eye issues like burning, itching. Hello User, Cysts development in the ovaries is a condition known as Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). It is a hormonal disorder which is common in women of reproductive age. Women suffering from PCOS may have prolonged menstrual periods or infrequent periods. The exact cause of PCOS is not known. However, Obese women and women having a family history of PCOS are more prone to this disorder.  Diet to follow-  Eating processed and preserved foods may contribute to inflammation and insulin resistance. So, avoid processed, preserved and packaged foods.  Add fruits, legumes and vegetables in your diet.  Eat nuts, sprouts and soaked raisins in the morning.  Add iron-rich foods like broccoli, spinach to your diet. Have magnesium-rich foods like almonds, cashews and bananas. Include turmeric and cinnamon in your diet. Turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties and cinnamon has positive effects on insulin resistance.  Avoid caffeine.  Avoid carbonated drinks.  Say no to alcohol, tobacco.  Avoid dairy products and animal products.  Exercise  Doing yoga is very beneficial for PCOS. Perform bhujanga asana, vriksha asana and padahasta asana.  Do pranayam regularly specially anulom-vilom pranayam.  Take sunrays regularly in the morning for at least 20min.  Sleep Sleeping pattern is very essential for a healthy hormonal balance. Hello Ajay, Acidity is a common digestion related problem that is faced by many people nowadays because of the sedentary lifestyle and wrong choices of food. Intake of a high fatty diet, oily, and spicy foods results in improper digestion which ultimately leads to digestive issues like acidity, burping, etc. Along with a correct diet, the adoption of a correct lifestyle is equally important.  Diet Start the day with 3 to 4 glasses of warm water on an empty stomach. This will help to flush the toxins out of the body.  Drink green tea twice a day, one in the morning on an empty stomach and the other at night before sleeping.  Eat sprouts in your breakfast as they are light in nature and are rich in nutrients also. Drink freshly prepared homemade fruit juices.  Have fresh, seasonal, and locally available fruits and vegetables.  Don't use refined oils for cooking. Instead, use cold-pressed oil for cooking. Have Vitamin C rich diet like include lemon, oranges, amla, blueberries, etc in your diet. Hello Sir/Ma’am, I am 23 years old guy. I have been suffering from social anxiety for quite a long time now. Every person has their own identity in terms of colour, body shape, height, skin, etc. Having a dark skin colour is not bad at all. You need to focus your energies on positive things instead of thinking on this negative side. Your confidence comes from what you feel and not from your skin colour. A good environment is also important, good environment also includes good friends and relatives. Here are some tips that will help you to deal with the situation. Diet Start the day with 3 to 4 glasses of warm water. This will help to eliminate the toxins out of the body.  Eat sprouts in your breakfast. Hello User, If our body is continuously getting exposed to an environment that is filled with toxins it will start showing its result in a manner that will have prolonged effects. Continuous consumption of fatty diet and highly spiced food leads to the accumulation of toxins that are the primary cause of any health issue. What needs to be taken care of now is the fact that a major change in a lifestyle and diet is to be made to cure the problem. The lighter the food in its nature the easier it is to absorb but what we do is load ourselves with a lot of high-fat diets and a sedentary lifestyle which results in the accumulation of toxins which results in skin issues. Skin is the first reflection of any problem in the body. By making changes in our lifestyle, we will not only cure the disease at this stage but will also prevent it. Now let us understand what changes we can make: Eat: The first thing in the morning is to start your day with something light in nature and easy to digest is what your breakfast should be because they are the kind of nutrients that get absorbed easily. The early morning ritual should include consumption of two-three glasses of warm water as it will help in flushing out all the toxins. The next thing is including fibre-rich food items which help in adding bulk to the stools, for example having apples, bananas, nuts, etc.thathas a good amount of fibre in them, the healthier the GUT, easier the absorption of nutrients and hence a healthy body. The ideal diet should be to depend more on fruits and raw vegetable intake at least for one month and refrain from something oil-based. Hello User, SLE means Systemic Lupus Erythematous. It is an autoimmune disease. Autoimmune disorders are disorders in which the body's immune system attacks its own cells, tissues and organs because it fails to differentiate between the body's cells and foreign cells or agents. This attack of the immune system on its own body cells results in several autoimmune disorders like myasthenia gravis, rheumatoid arthritis, sclerosis, lupus arythematous, inflammatory bowel disease, etc. Improving the lifestyle, diet and adding following things in your routine will help to cure it naturally.  Diet Adding the following foods in the diet will help you to cue the problem. Include turmeric, coriander, ginger and cumin in your diet. Have fresh vegetables in your diet. Include sweet gourd, bottle gourd, ridge gourd, pumpkin, bitter guard, onion, garlic and broccoli in your diet.
