Hi. Pick one habit at a time, follow it for 10 days & then add the next. As you change your habits, your taste buds will change!! Which one you want to pick first, depends on you. I will say start with the easiest and then keep picking up more & more difficult ones. Here's my list of 10 - Replace tea/coffee with healthy teas or drinks. Replace cooked breakfast with fruits. Have vegetable juice every noon & evening. Have raw veggie salads with lunch & dinner, atleast 50% to be raw. OR have cooked lunch & raw dinner. Replace milk with nut milk. Replace wheat roti with other grain rotis / dosas / chillas. Replace white salt with rock salt - this is very easy to do as there is no change in the taste. Replace packaged snacks with roasted makhanas, peanuts, chana, murmure, seeds, nuts, fruits, salads, etc. Avoid white sugar products like mithaai, cakes, pastries. Replace evening snacks with fruits.
Hello, my name is Bhagyashri and I live in Europe. Since a couple of years I had been noticing my 2-3 fingers of right get a bit swollen and blue/green in color during peak winter. Left hand is normal. Swollen fingers are little bit painful at times. Does anyone know why it happens and what can be done for this? Thank you.

Hey Bhagyashri, this is really a common problem in peek winters. Relax, it can be sorted out by you, easily! Let me split your question in parts and respond. 1. Why the fingers are swollen? Any inflammation in body parts is due to the accumulation of toxin. It is called TOXAEMIA* and happens because of the body not being able to expel the toxins from the blood. When the blood flow gets normal, the swollen part gets its normal shape, back. 2. Why the fingers turning blue/green? Physics-wise penetration of different colors of the light has different degrees of success in terms of its wavelength and travelling medium. If the light travelling medium restricts some colour substantially, the medium gets colored with that particular colour. Here the blue and green colors are restricted despite its high frequency and less wavelength due to the toxicity of region. Please correlate this with Vein being blue and Arteries being red! Veins are more toxic than Arteries. Hence undoubtedly it is a loxin-laden region of the body due to which it is turning blue or green. No wonder, it gives irritation. Toxins are irritating always. 3. Why only right hand? The body finds its weak-link(s) based on different factors, starting from genetics to environment to faulty lifestyles for accumulation of toxins. Hi. Hypothyroidism, also called underactive thyroid or low thyroid is a condition in which your thyroid gland doesn't produce enough of certain important hormones. It upsets the normal balance of chemical reactions in your body. While we commonly refer to 'thyroid' as a health issue, it is actually the body’s way of indicating to us that the hormones are out of balance. Our body always works for us to be in good health. We just have to support it correctly & this can be done by staying in-sync with nature. Hence avoid all foods and all products that are unnatural. Do you eat three hours before bedtime? If you eat just before bedtime, body is busy digesting food and it may be uncomfotable to get into sleep mode. Are you on your electronic device before sleep? The blue light is known to interfere in sleep patterns. So try to be off your gardgets atleast an hour before you sleep. Sleep on time. Body likes regularity. Offload your worries by journaling before bedtime for a restful sleep. My grandmom applies some sesame oil to her feet and covers with socks before sleeping. You could try having a concoction of lemon juice diluted with equal amount of water. Have it every 3-4 hours. Basically with high uric acid your body is more acidic than alkaline, u have to restore the balance by upping the alkaline foods. Hope you don’t take dairy and wheat? These leave a high acidic residue in the body. Start your day with soaked raisins. - they are highly alkaline.

Coffee per se will not deter your chances of conceiving.Having said that however,your terrain has to be “clean”in order to sustain life. Have lotsa fruits veggies cold pressed veggie juices nuts seed sprouts .Other than nutrition ,rest exercise sunlight deactivation are also important.Your mental health emotional health perception of life attitude all play a vital role .A cup of coffee here and there wont matter. By the way I conceived after 8 years of marriage.Did whatever everybody told me to do,ate what everyone told me to eat , followed all the “spiritual gurus advice “,used to get my ovulation monitered every month, was totally on bed rest from day one when I conceived twice which eventually ended in miscarriages, Dr Dang used to send his technicians home for my blood samples since I was on bed rest.Nothing worked.I was fed up of doctor shopping .... even went to Anirudh Malpani ... the famous infertility specialist( he was my college mate) Finally I was under Dr Soonawala’s ( from Mumbai )care. I used to meet him every month that he came to Delhi .... had umpteen check ups done .... results were all clear .... nothing wrong with either of us.Tocut a long story short finally when I did conceive I was in my third month climbing 900 steps of a famous temple in my 4 inch heels and not aware that I had conceived. Hellos pls note, tooth ache and cavities if any are sign that the body and mouth has higher acidic medium vs. alkaline. Our food breaks down in our mouth through the chewing process. Food break down leave an acidic residue in the mouth, thus its important that your child cleanses his mouth with water after every time he eats. Also overall pls increase his overall intake of alkalizing foods such as fruits and vegetables. Do reduce refined foods, packaged foods, maida, sugar, refined oils etc. instead replenish with more whole, natural food choices such as nuts, seeds, sprouts, whole beans and legumes and fresh fruits and veggies. Excessive consumption of dairy, non veg and grains also cause higher acidic build up. As a process our body has innate repair mechanism and in theory can reverse cavities too and heal the tooth from within. The blood supply and therefore the nutrient supply to the outer layers of our tooth is not direct. The process itself is very slow and effort-full for the body. Hi… Our bodies have an amazing healing capacity mainly as nature has designed it innately within all organisms. Growth, repair and reproduction are the basic functions of any living cell. When we provide inputs to our body, which is in line with how nature meant it body does a wonderful job of reversing the illness. However, pls note that Cancer by itself has manifested after years of the body trying to cope with the wrong inputs. Many times infact most times these wrong inputs are not just food, emotions, and thoughts play a huge role. So reversing cancer requires a very deep and 360 degree approach – but the most important aspect for the person undergoing it, to be the one believing in the immense power of the body. Food wise the changes to be done requires one to cut off all processed packaged foods and introduce fresh, raw whole natural foods. Hi since past 3-4 days I am having dizziness and shaking feeling including tingling of mouth. I also feel low in energy whilst my diet consumption has substantially increased. Hi pls do not mix dry fruits and nuts. They are different food groups, and should be consumed separately. Munaka, Raisins are dry fruits while peanuts, almonds, sesame, kaju are nuts.
Hi moms, my daughter has been coughing from last 15-20 days in mornings and at night. The doc says it’s because of the allergies and not due to cold. I believe in natural home remedies and usually give her nutmeg and liquorice powder with honey and it helped her in past. Through cough and colds, esp nagging ones, the body is demanding a lot of rest. So, focus on her rest. Since she will be having disturbed sleep at night, make sure she is able to nap in afternoon in dark or call it an earlier night for next 15 days. Wind down, have aroma baths for her in evening. Keep her in dim lights in evening before you sleep. Because only in rest mode will the body repair. If she has a bad coughing spell at 3-4 am, keep her hydrated through soaked raisins. If you can afford keep her off school and allow her to rest do so.

Hi. Sinusitis is inflammation of the sinus caused by accumulation of toxic material. Body has an innate self healing mechanism, all you have to do is support your daughter's body in cleaning up these toxins. Toxins accumulate in an acidic body environment. You have to focus on increasing alkalinity in her body. Give her a diet rich in fruits, fruit juices and smoothies (only fruit based, no dairy), veggie salads, coconut water, lemon water. Give her veggie juices - Carrot spinach or carrot beetroot. Dairy, maida and white sugar are mucous forming and aggravate sinusitis. Completely eliminate these. Steaming is good. How often is she doing it? Try 3-4 times a day, add eucalyptus oil drops in water while steaming. You can also pour a few drops in pillow for inhalation while sleeping. Hope this helps. Take care dear. It might need a bit of effort and discipline to implement what I said, but we have to do it for our kids. They eat so much of processed food and live in polluted air, we have to make an extra effort to help their bodies regain their balance.

Back aches typically come due to strenuous activities over a period of time. I’m a mother of a 2.5 year old boy, sometimes when I excessively carry him around I get a backache. What I have noticed is that if I become more disciplined about my food on days when I know I’ll be superbly busy running after him, I’m able to manage much better. So fruits till noon and veggie juices before lunch - just these 2 things itself have such a big impact!! I’ll strongly suggest you follow this too as your problem has been lingering for a while now. In addition to that, ensure you don’t strain ur back. Don’t sit in same posture for long. Do yoga for back strengthening, google for the relevant poses. Regular massage will also give you relief. While taking bath,try putting water on your back through shower, alternating b/w hot and cold, do 3 rounds. I think this will really help you.

If you are on a healthy detox diet then hair fall is very common . It will pick up in a year or two. Hair is not essential for life or it’s not one of the vitals for living and hence hair falls and regrows as healing is happening and when body finds surplus resources and vital force to pay attn to hair, it will. Hi, you can boil few leaves of kadi patta in coconut oil. After it cools down, you can add baal jhad herb to it. Apply it overnight and shampoo the next day. Apply it thrice a week.
I am 2 months pregnant. I have been getting headaches. I tried to link it to hunger and yes it is correlated to some extent. But at times i have eaten well or am not feeling hungry at all, still the headache starts. Pregnancy surely is a time of many changes and surprises! Your body is going through so many changes. During this, I believe we need to take good care and listen to our body. I hope you are making sure that your daily intake of nourishing foods i.e fruits, salads, nuts etc. is quite high. Along with healthy diet you must sleep well - at least 8 to 10 hours of sleep, in complete darkness. Also focus on breathing during this period. When you wake up in morning, inculcate a lot of deep breathing exercises. This should also help.
My son is 2 years 10 months old. He has a habit of drinking milk to sleep, in afternoon & night. At night, everytime he wakes up he asks for milk. I'm struggling to wean him off. let me share my experience regarding feeding kids.I breastfed my elder one for 3 years then shifted to feeding from a glass ... no bottle at all .... later went onto drop dairy altogether .Today he’s 22 years old .My younger one I breastfed for 9 months ,after which I had to travel leaving him behind so my mom started feeding him banana each time he wanted his breastfeed so much so that he got hooked on to bananas( he still is at age 17). Point I’m trying to make is you could try feeding him something resembling or tasting like milk ..... a fruit smoothie, mashed fruit , coconut/ almond milk smoothies.Post 3 years once you start teething one does not need milk at all.
I have periodontal disease and been researching natural ways to help with it. I read that oil pulling can help with gum inflammation and tighten loose teeth. Any thoughts on that would be greatly appreciated.

In addition to what Pramodji has suggested, I would advice that you go on water fasting for one day and then followed by juice fasting for one day and then followed by fruit fasting the third day and then full raw for 10 days ensuring that you don’t chew vegetables so much but taking it more in vegetable juice form and then chew some soft vegetables like tomatoes, capsicum etc In future, please brush twice daily with a vegan toothpaste and floss daily. Avoid diary, meat , fried , sweets of all forms except dates and fruits from your lifestyle. If any of these have comforted you in the past, they have also led you to this stage. So better to say goodbye to them. After those 13 days of routine I mentioned, you can fast till 12 and then have fruits for lunch, followed by veg salad and veg juice and a simple cooked food in the night.
