Some of the most commonly seen thyroid problems are either hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism. These two are autoimmune disorders where our own immune system attacks our body. Other causes of thyroid problems would be due to some inflammation or infection caused by bacterial infections, due to some lumps or growths over the glands, some cancerous growth, or due to some iodine deficiencies which are commonest in the hill terrains or due to any genetically caused problems Our natural therapies would have a better quality of cure or management in autoimmune problems Some ways to manage are as follows: Consumption of vegetables and vegetable salads could be of great use. Sometimes if the problems are caused due to some iodine deficiency some vegetables could help in this deficiency and substantiate the iodine deficiency and could prove an effective therapy. Consume a lot of kale. Kale is a cabbage type of leafy vegetable which is very common in Indian markets these days. Kale could be used in the forms of salads or could be added with the dishes you could Practice Yoga. Specific Yoga for thyroid ailments could be taught by well-trained yoga therapist or naturopath. Sarvanghasana in specific has a better role to play in these problems. When the stimulation at neck occurs when you perform the asana thyroid gland is activated and the flow of hormones is regulated. The regular practice could be useful and could help in reducing the dependency on the thyroid medication that your doctor has prescribed. Reduce the use of mobile phones or electronic gadgets which could have an adverse effect too Always keep in mind to chew well and eat slowly. Avoid eating while you read or watch television. Concentrate on just eating while you eat. This could be an effective tip but has lot effect on the process of mastication.

नमस्ते कारण - आंत स्वस्थ नहीं है इसीलिए ये निम्न स्तर पर है। शरीर की संरचना में किसी भी विटामिन की कमी नहीं हो सकती शरीर का अम्लीय (acidic) होने के कारण यह समस्या होती है जैसे ही शरीर में क्षरिए तत्व (alkalinity) को बढ़ाएँगे। विटामिन की कमी ठीक हो जाएगी।समाधान - आंत के स्वास्थ को बेहतर करें। millet इडली, डोसा, मेवे का सेवन करें तेल रहित सब्ज़ी बनाने के लिए और इसमें फ़र्मेंट किए हुए मेथी दाने को पीस कर मिलाएँ डालें। ये इडली डोसा के better में भी मिला सकते है। नमक की मात्रा बहुत कम लें। जीवन शैली - यह जीवन शैली को अनुशासनबद्ध तरीक़े से पालन करके किसी भी तरीक़े के रोगी ठीक हुए हैं। हर बीमारी का मूल कारण होता है हाज़मा और क़ब्ज़। प्राकृतिक जीवन शैली को अपनाने से हाज़मा और क़ब्ज़ की समस्या ठीक होगा। आइए प्राकृतिक जीवन शैली में हम 5 प्रकार के आहार से अवगत हों। 1 आकाश तत्व- एक खाने से दूसरे खाने के बीच में विराम दें, रोज़ाना 15 घंटे का उपवास करें जैसे रात का भोजन 7 बजे तक कर लिया और सुबह का नाश्ता 9 बजे लें। 2 वायु तत्व- लंबा गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें। इसके बाद फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें रुकें फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें ये एक चक्र हुआ। ऐसे 10 चक्र एक समय पर करना है। ये दिन में चार 3 अग्नि तत्व- सूर्य उदय के एक घंटे बाद या सूर्य अस्त के एक घंटे पहले का धूप शरीर को ज़रूर लगाएँ। सर और आँख को किसी सूती कपड़े से ढक कर। जब भी लेंटे अपना दायाँ भाग ऊपर करके लेटें ताकि आपका सूर्य नाड़ी सक्रिय रहे। 4 जल तत्व- खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें। खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा करें। मेरुदंड स्नान के लिए अगर टब ना हो तो एक मोटा तौलिया गीला कर लें बिना निचोरे उसको बिछा लें और अपने मेरुदंड को उस स्थान पर रखें। मेरुदंड (स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें। हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें और हफ़्ते में 3 दिन मेरुदंड का स्नान करें। 5 पृथ्वी- सब्ज़ी, सलाद, फल, मेवे, आपका मुख्य आहार होगा आप सुबह खीरे का जूस लें, खीरा1/2 + धनिया पत्ती पीस लें, 100ml पानी मिला कर पीएँ, 2 घंटे बाद फल नाश्ते में लेना है। दोपहर में 12 बजे सफ़ेद पेठे (ashguard) को 20 ग्राम पीस कर 100ml पानी में लें। इसके एक घंटे बाद खाना खाएँ। फ़र्मेंट फ़ूड लें। शाम को नारियल पानी लें फिर 2 घंटे तक कुछ ना लें। रात के सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें। ताज़ा नारियल को पीस कर मिलाएँ। लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। इसे बिना नमक के खाएँ। रात का खाना 8 बजे खाएँ। एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस (solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल (liquid) को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें। ठोस (solid) भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ (liquid) ले सकते। धन्यवाद। रूबी, प्राकृतिक जीवनशैली शिक्षिका (Nature Cure Educator)

Namaste, Sorry to hear that. First you should understand that there is no permanent cure in Allopathy medicine. Before taking any medicine it is always adviced that see its side affects. To cure from thyroid, first you should avoid taking Thyroid medicine and focus to reduce weight. consult good Nutrient dietcian in your area, and ask for diet chart which should be diary free and organic foods. Also do some yoga by trained yoga expert. Practice mediation and daily at night soak 3 to 5 badam in water and morning remove its skin and chew it. it will improve from lack of concentration. take oil bath weekly once and explorer to sun light to get vitamin D. This will give good results.

Namaste, Change you life and diet lifestyle. Take daily morning and evening brisk walks for at least 20-30 minutes each. Exploring morning sunlight around 15 to 20min is very beneficial. Increase intake of fiber, especially fruits and cooked vegetables. Eat whole grains and nuts. Avoid refined foods like white flour, bread, pasta, pizza, white rice, etc. Avoid animal products like dairy and meat should be strictly avoided. Disturbing psychological factors should be removed, and meals should be taken in a relaxed and calm atmosphere. Soak 3-4 dried figs after washing them overnight in water. Eat them first thing in the morning, and also drink the water in which they were soaked. They should also be taken in the evening. Try this treatment for 3-4 weeks. Add extra virgin coconut oil for your vegetable cooking. Join yoga center and with help of expert learn some easy asanas. I would suugest you to consult a registered Naturopath who is connected with a well established naturopathy hospital for naturopathy and yoga treatment which could very well work along with the medicine that you take. Slowly when latter therapies work on you you can slowly cut down the medicines after constant analysis of your thyroid hormone levels. It might be suggested to avoid self medication or self treatments as this would complicate the issue further and could bring some adverse effects.

नमस्ते नीलम जी, इस बीमारी का मूल कारण हाज़मा और क़ब्ज़ है। शरीर पाँच तत्व से बना हुआ है प्रकृति की ही तरह। आकाश, वायु, अग्नि, जल, पृथ्वी ये पाँच तत्व आपके शरीर में रोज़ खुराक की तरह जाना चाहिए। पृथ्वी और शरीर का बनावट एक जैसा 70% पानी से भरा हुआ। पानी जो कि फल, सब्ज़ी से मिलता है। शरीर को चेक ना करे बल्कि आदतों को चेक करें। 1 आकाश तत्व- एक खाने से दूसरे खाने के बीच में विराम दें। रोज़ाना 15 घंटे का उपवास करें जैसे रात का भोजन 7 बजे तक कर लिया और सुबह का नाश्ता 9 बजे लें। 2 वायु तत्व- लंबा गहरा स्वाँस अंदर भरें और रुकें फिर पूरे तरीक़े से स्वाँस को ख़ाली करें रुकें फिर स्वाँस अंदर भरें ये एक चक्र हुआ। ऐसे 10 चक्र एक टाइम पर करना है। ये दिन में चार बार करें। खुली हवा में बैठें या टहलें। 3 अग्नि तत्व- सूर्य उदय के एक घंटे बाद या सूर्य अस्त के एक घंटे पहले का धूप शरीर को ज़रूर लगाएँ। सर और आँख को किसी सूती कपड़े से ढक कर। जब भी लेंटे अपना दायाँ भाग ऊपर करके लेटें ताकि आपकी सूर्य नाड़ी सक्रिय रहे। 4 जल तत्व- खाना खाने से एक घंटे पहले नाभि के ऊपर गीला सूती कपड़ा लपेट कर रखें और खाना के 2 घंटे बाद भी ऐसा करें। नीम के पत्ते का पेस्ट अपने गर्भाशय (uterus) पर रखें। 20मिनट तक रख कर साफ़ कर लें। मेरुदंड स्नान के लिए अगर टब ना हो तो एक मोटा तौलिया गीला कर लें बिना निचोरे उसको बिछा लें और अपने मेरुदंड को उस स्थान पर रखें। मेरुदंड (स्पाइन) सीधा करके बैठें। हमेशा इस बात ध्यान रखें और हफ़्ते में 3 दिन मेरुदंड का स्नान करें। 5 पृथ्वी- सब्ज़ी, सलाद, फल, मेवे, आपका मुख्य आहार होगा। आप सुबह सफ़ेद पेठे 20ग्राम पीस कर 100 ml पानी में मिला कर पीएँ। 2 घंटे बाद फल नाश्ते में लेना है। दोपहर में 12 बजे फिर से इसी जूस को लें। इसके एक घंटे बाद खाना खाएँ।शाम को 5 बजे सफ़ेद पेठे (ashguard) 20 ग्राम पीस कर 100 ml पानी मिला। 2घंटे तक कुछ ना लें। रात के सलाद में हरे पत्तेदार सब्ज़ी को डालें, ताज़ा नारियल पीस कर मिलाएँ। रात का खाना 8 बजे खाएँ लाल, हरा, पीला शिमला मिर्च 1/4 हिस्सा हर एक का मिलाएँ। इसे बिना नमक के खाएँ, बहुत फ़ायदा होगा। पृथ्वी तत्व को शरीर में डालने का एक नियम हमेशा याद रखें ठोस (solid) खाने को चबा कर तरल (liquid) बना कर खाएँ। तरल (liquid) को मुँह में घूँट घूँट पीएँ। खाना ज़मीन पर बैठ कर खाएँ। खाते वक़्त ना तो बात करें और ना ही TV और mobile को देखें। ठोस (solid) भोजन के तुरंत बाद या बीच बीच में जूस या पानी ना लें। भोजन हो जाने के एक घंटे बाद तरल पदार्थ (liquid) ले सकते हैं। ऐसा करने से हाज़मा कभी ख़राब नहीं होगा। जानवरों से उपलब्ध होने वाले भोजन वर्जित हैं। तेल, मसाला, और गेहूँ से परहेज़ करेंगे तो अच्छा होगा। हफ़्ते में एक दिन उपवास करें। शाम तक केवल पानी लें, प्यास लगे तो ही पीएँ। शाम 5 बजे नारियल पानी और रात 8 बजे सलाद लें। जिस दिन उपवास है उस दिन और इसके अगले दिन एनिमा लें। सहज रूप से मल त्याग करने के बाद। एनिमा किट मँगा लें। यह किट ऑनलाइन मिल जाएगा। इससे 100ml पानी गुदाद्वार से अंदर डालें और प्रेशर आने पर मल त्याग करें। ऐसा दिन में दो बार करना है अगले 21 दिनों के लिए। ये करना है ताकि शरीर में उपस्थित विषाणु निष्कासित हो जाये। रूबी, Ruby प्राकृतिक जीवनशैली शिक्षिका (Nature Cure Educator)

Hy...she can do ujjai Pranayam twice daily...and kapalbhati...and tell her to put neutral or cold throat pack daily for 20 min in the evening preferably...dip cotton cloth into cold or neutral water squeeze extra water and wrap around neck..it should not be too tight or too lose...
