Natural Healing Advisor
Hope you started with the journal.
Let’s start with the tough ones first. Tackling the biggest problem will give the fastest results.
I am talking about the morning habit of tea and coffee. Yes, I think you know that these are habit forming but did you also know that they are toxic? They are socially acceptable but hold no place in your life if you are looking for better health.
Coffee and tea are highly acidic to the body. They are toxins and have no nutritional value. Add milk and sugar and the combo makes it even more toxic. Drinking coffee and tea drives the nervous system into a heightened state of stimulation. They tax the liver and the nervous system which is already in overdrive in this modern fast-paced world. They seem to bring us energy but this is false. They, in fact, extract a great deal of energy from the body to digest and soon after you experience a crash in the form of tiredness and irritability.
Tea and coffee cause a good bowel movement. Do you know why? Because they are treated as toxins by the body and the body wants to get rid of it as soon as possible. The stomach tries to get rid of it by emptying itself out. So out goes its contents and all the food still in the intestines. So all the nutritive food you ate previously is literally down the drain. The body gets tired handling these toxins and cannot do other activities well.
You can take several steps to break this habit:
You may see some *detox symptoms* as you try to break from the addiction
Green smoothie recipe if you like to try: 1/2 ripe banana, 1 cup papaya/apple/persimmon, 1 small bunch spinach, few leaves of mint or coriander (optional). Blend everything, add a little water if necessary. Sip this slowly. Do NOTadd sugar or milk or yoghurt.
