Hello Nikita,

Rheumatoid arthritis occurs when excessive toxins get accumulated in the body. Following a wrong lifestyle, eating wrong foods, not doing any physical activity, hormonal imbalance, and incorrect sleeping pattern leads to a disturbed metabolism which results in toxin accumulation in the body.

Foods to eat-

  • Start the day with a glass of warm water with lemon juice in it. This will help to improve the metabolism and to flush out the toxins out of the body.
  • Drink green tea twice a day, one in the morning on an empty stomach and the other at night before sleeping.
  • Eat only plant-based natural foods.
  • Include salads, nuts, beans, and sprouts in your diet.
  • Eat soaked dry fruits to get the easily absorbable nutrients.
  • Drink coconut water.
  • Drink plenty of water during the day to eliminate the toxins out of the body.

Foods to avoid-

  • Avoid dairy products like ghee, milk, paneer, curd, etc.
  • Avoid animal foods.
  • Avoid carbonated drinks.
  • Avoid processed, packaged, oily, and spicy foods.
  • Avoid tea, coffee, and other caffeinated drinks.

Local application

Firstly you need to understand that the pain in rheumatoid arthritis is not like other pains. Usually people apply oil or do massage to get releif from pain but in rheumatoid arthritis application of oil will aggravate the pain because here the pain is due to the formation of ama (toxins).

Mix sand and rock salt in equal parts and warm it in a vessel. Roll it in any cloth ( make a potli of it) and apply this heat pack on the areas of pain.

Exercise

Being physically active is very essential for good metabolism.

  • Start your day with a short morning walk.
  • Do 12 sets of suryanamaskar daily.
  • Perform yoga asanas like bhujanga asana, trikona asana, padahasta asana, hala asana.
  • Do pranayam daily, specially anulom-vilom and kapalbhati pranayam.
  • Take sunrays early in the morning for 15 to 20 minutes daily.

Sleep

Sleep helps to maintain the circadian rhythm and also hormonal balances. Hence, taking proper sleep is very important.

Take proper sleep of at least 7-8hours daily. Sleep early at night and also wake up early in the morning.

Avoid electronic equipment at least 1hour before sleeping for an increased quality of sleep.

Thank you

Namaskar!

We can totally empathize with what you would be going through. It is our endeavour at Wellcure to guide people towards natural living and healing. Let us begin by understanding the Nature Cure perspective.

As per Nature Cure, our body is designed to stay in a state of health, and diseases are often an attempt to restore any imbalance inside the body. The imbalance is caused because of toxins - which are an output of metabolism and are also added due to unnatural lifestyle choices. Nature has equipped us with the measures of eliminating the toxins on a regular basis - through breathing, stool, urine, sweat, mucus depositions in the nose, eyes, and genitals, etc. Whenever there is toxic overload due to insufficient or faulty elimination our body starts a few special elimination processes. Those are considered as Acute diseases like Flu, Loose-motions, cough, cold, fever, skin rashes, and acute pain. At this stage, instead of supporting the body to get rid of toxins we often suppress symptoms by restoring to quick-fixes like medicines, etc. As a result, the body is unable to throw away the toxins. This is when the ever-increasing amount of toxins in the body starts creating long term disease conditions such as diabetes, blood pressure, asthma, ulcer, etc. And when we further ignore the symptoms or try to suppress them and then the state of the disease takes a turn for the worse. This is when the body has completely given up and starts shutting down slowly, resulting in degenerative diseases. That's what happens in rheumatoid arthritis.

The way to reverse diseases is to adopt a natural lifestyle which in turn helps get rid of the toxins and supports the body by providing the right environment for self-healing. We would thereby recommend you to adopt a natural lifestyle. You can explore our Natural Health Coaching that helps you in making the transition, step by step. Our Natural Health Coach will look into your daily routine in a comprehensive way and give you an action plan. She/he will guide you on the diet, sleep, exercise, stress to correct your existing routine & make it in line with Natural Laws.
