But since 4 months he is getting white patches on his tongue on the edge and he is taking allopathy medicine but these patches keep coming again. Along with this, he experiences kind of pain below his chest and at naval area due to acidity. Also since 2-3 months he developed constipation too. I want to help my father and need your guidance on the same.

Hello Bhagyashri,

It's good that your father doesn't have any disorders like bp and diabetes. The health issues that your father is facing are related to each other. The root cause for all the problems is improper digestion, this improper digestion leads to constipation and acidity which leads to the development of white patches on tongue. Hence, the root cause which is improper digestion can be cured by following a natural lifestyle and eating habits :

Diet to follow-

  • Drink 3 to 4 glasses of warm water on an empty stomach in the morning. This will help to flush the toxins out of the body.
  • Have Vitamin C rich foods like blueberries, orange, etc.
  • Eat soaked raisins on an empty stomach in the morning.
  • Have sprouts, nuts, beans, and salads.
  • Eat fresh, seasonal, and locally available fruits and vegetables.
  • Drink freshly prepared homemade fruit juices with fibers. This will add bulk to the stool and will aid in the movement of the stool.
  • Drink plenty of water during the day.
  • Have your dinner 3 to 4 hours before your sleeping time.

Foods to avoid-

  • Avoid dairy products and animal foods.
  • Avoid processed, packaged, oily, and spicy foods.
  • Avoid refined oils and refined grains.
  • Avoid tea, coffee, and other caffeinated drinks.
  • Avoid carbonated drinks.

Exercise

  • Start the day with a brisk morning walk of at least 30min.
  • Do 12 sets of suryanamaskar daily in the morning.
  • Perform pranayam, specially anulom-vilom and bhastrika pranayam.
  • Take sunrays early in the morning.
  • Take short walks after every meal.

Sleep

A proper sleeping pattern is very important for a healthy digestive system. Hence, take proper sleep of at least 7-8 hours daily. Sleep early at night and also wake up early in the morning.

Thank you

Namaskara from Wellcure,

Thanks for sharing your concern with us! To begin with, let us look at your problem from a Nature Cure perspective.

Skin is the elimination organ with the largest surface area. When there is toxins overload in the body, it opens up skin as the additional medium. Otherwise this elimination happens mainly through urine, motions & the air we breathe out. As he follows a clean nature based diet & lifestyle, body will remove the toxins & tongue patches will start clearing up.

Nature has designed our body to stay in good health. Digestion is the most basic function of our body and as far as our lifestyle (food as well as non-food aspects like sleep, sunlight, emotional health, movement etc) is aligned to the Laws of Nature we can expect to have a healthy digestive system, free from issues like gas, bloating, constipation etc. Only natural foods (like vegetables, fruits, nuts etc.) are easy to digest and absorb. All animal-based foods like dairy, meat, eggs etc., as well as refined and processed foods, leave a toxic residue in the body. This, in turn, results in various health issues or discomforts of the type you mentioned.

From Nature Cure point of view, toxicity is the root cause of all diseases. The way out to your stomach problem is to get rid of the toxins. We would encourage you to adopt a natural lifestyle to deal with your condition. You can explore our Natural Health Coaching Program that helps you in making the transition, step by step.
